Online Attention for Toronto HPB Research Publications Riding High

Two recently published papers generated by Toronto HPB investigators are topping Almetric charts in the realm of research outputs.

With 21,877 page views, 276 Tweets and 71 mentions in other published articles to date, Toronto produced publication “A renewed model of pancreatic cancer evolution based on genomic rearrangement patterns”, Nature –Oct. 20, 2016, is capturing a lot of people’s attention: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v538/n7625/full/nature19823.html;

Contributors to this “fairly popular” paper, as described by first author, Ashton Connor, include Toronto HPB Fellowship Director, Sean Cleary and Head of UHN HPB Surgery, Dr. Steven Gallinger. All three are also contributors to last week’s Nature publication.
